History

Over the years there have been updates on Addison's disease in Bearded Collies. The first was in 1995 and the most recent was in 2005. All were presented at a BCCA national specialty seminar. There is also one from 2000, which is available upon request (E. Sell).

Everyone looks forward to the time the mode of inheritance is identified with certainty and when genetic testing is available for breeders. Then Bearded Collies will have a future without Addison's disease
